Sirish Chandran
EditorSirish Chandran is one of the youngest editors in the automotive journalism business and seems to be able to do everything effortlessly. Which is why, he writes insightful, authoritative road tests, regularly drives to the podium in the Indian Rally Championship and is the lead presenter on our award-winning television show as well. His decade in this business has been marked by a meteoric rise to the top, going from gopher to editor in a short span of time. Usually level headed, he isn't to be messed with when worked up.

Bertrand D'souza
Deputy EditorBert or Bertie as he is popularly known allows his Mumbai-cool laid-back attitude to hide his immense, natural talent when it comes to driving and riding. A proper hot head when given a keyboard, Bert is rarely afraid to speak his mind and his tests are ruthlessly honest and always heartfelt. Bertrand is currently the only Indian journalist to have driven a near-current Formula One car. His passion for traveling is well known, especially to his wife and son. Always up for a laugh, Bert is happy to be messed with, and gives back as good as he gets.

Shubhabrata Marmar
Deputy EditorShumi is India's top motorcycle journalist, with a ten-year reputation of unflagging passion for two-wheelers and a well known and regularly expressed disdain for four wheels. Which is funny given his ability to whip out accurate, crisp road tests for bikes and cars alike. Shumi is also famous for his continuous stream of bad jokes and puns, some of which leak on to national television as well. However, his energy and enthusiasm makes them a bit more bearable than they should be. Okay, it doesn't t really help and we have to put up with it. Always ready to ride, Shumi's obsession with kitting up for a motorcycle ride is legendary. He might be the last guy when it comes to getting ready, but he usually gets there first.

Abhay Verma
Senior CorrespondentAbhay is the hardest working member on the team, eagerly taking on any and all tasks that require dealing with. He tests all motorcycles that come to OVERDRIVE and will usually wheelie and stoppie everything when given the chance. A natural motorcycle rider, Abhay's ability to go quickly on a motorcycle is almost always a surprise given his easygoing nature. A likable bloke, Abhay is on track to becoming one of the stars of the motorcycle journalism fraternity in the near future. Abhay is also our motorsport correspondent, which means he works the weekends as well. He doesn't mind, believe, but his girlfriends, most certainly do.

Halley Prabhakar
Senior CorrespondentHalley is the cool cat from Bangalore. He has always been into the tuning scene, though he has learnt not to bring tuner cars to work, since it usually ends up with the team taking joyride after joyride. Halley is rapidly becoming a seasoned tester and is a dab hand at cars as well as motorcycles. His stories are famous for being on target, and off the deadlines. We just wish he would become as quick at the keyboard as he is in the saddle and behind the wheel.

Rishaad Mody
CorrespondentRishaad is too young. This is manifested in the red eyes when it's two hours past bedtime, usually the most productive time at the OVERDRIVE office. But don't let that innocent look fool you. Rishaad has a wicked sense of humor that comes out in his stories, an amazing, unpolished turn of speed on a bike and a surprisingly self-assured presence on television as well. He will go far, just as long as he can deal with the sleep deprivation.

Ashok George
CorrespondentAshok is one of the newer members of the OVERDRIVE team, and he is the sleeper. Which is not to say he spends his days sleeping, but that he appears to be a stock, staid car, which suddenly blows everyone away with a hidden bank of turbochargers. Ashok handles cameras and words with equal aplomb and will soon be handling cars and motorcycles with equal finesse.

Ray Hutton
Contributing EditorRay is British, most established in the automotive industry than many manufacturers and a effortless writer of the most insightful automotive stories. Ray's association with Overdrive goes back all the way to the beginning and we like to say that Ray has forgotten more than we know. And unlike most sayings, it's true.

Harriet Ridley
ContributorCheeky Harriet is our other British member, a properly pint-sized bike mad girl. She loves the two-wheeled things, even when she cannot get her feet down and outside of testing, has been racing in club races in the UK forever.
